This site features many of the apps I have created using Visual Basic.
What is this for?
-
You may have read thus far that I hold degrees in music education, although this does not mean that I am giving up on music...I have always held an interest in computers and frankly I do not see how it is possible to survive in today's society without being technologically savvy.

The apps featured on this site are beta versions: You are allowed to download them for FREE, however, if you want the full-upgraded version for any app, then please contact me for purchase by clicking the banner ad at the top of this site!
Why?!
-
Because I am someone who can sit in one spot for hours upon hours...computers are neat to me in that they do exactly what you tell them to do, in the exact same order, over and over again without error and without tiring, and all at lightning speed. Computers are also amazingly literal like that--they only do what you TELL them to do, NOT what you WANT them to do!

I use Finale!, the music notation software, to compose music, or to create individual sheet music parts and whole-band scores, and I have to sit there and enter each pitch, while being precise to its rhythmic duration as well as adding articulation, expression, and dynamic symbols; part for part, just to create a single MIDI file...but I just find a comfortable spot, get some tea, turn on some music and I actually enjoy spending hours doing so!

Therefore, learning high-level programming languages such as QuickBasic, Visual Basic, HTML, JavaScript, and COBOL were easy and fun for me, as they are all based on logic, more or less...I love the challenge of being given an assignment for an app and then building an algorithm (e.g., flow charts in PowerPoint, using 'pseudocode' to create the blueprints/recipe cards for an app), designing it, testing & debugging, etc.
Enough tech-talk! Take me to the apps...
