Cream Cheese Frosting

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 cup (8 oz. = ½ lb.) package of Philadelphia® cream cheese

  • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) of butter:
    I use I Can't Believe It's NOT Butter!® Light

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract:
    I use Torani® Sugar Free Vanilla Flavoring Syrup

  • 2 cups (16 oz. = 1 lb.) granulated (white) sugar


  • Preparation:
  • Leave the Philly cream cheese on the counter until it is at room temperature (to soften)

  • Melt the butter in a large plastic bowl for approx. 30 seconds on high...
    This should yield 4 oz. (½ cup)

  • Now add the cream cheese, sugar,
    and vanilla with the butter and mix all ingredients in the bowl well
    (approx. 2 minutes using a tablespoon)

  • Serve (cream cheese frosting) with muffins, scones, banana nut bread, etc.

  • With some fresh strawberries, wash them, cut the tops off, and slice in half vertically,
    and fill each side with this cream cheese frosting...serve on a platter & enjoy!
