  • Plastic mold:
    • You can purchase these from many stores, including Michael's®
    • as well as from Jo Ann® (arts & crafts stores)
    • Pictured above are snowflake & snowman molds (3 ea. = 6 total)
    • These can be washed & re-used...

  • 1 package of coating (this flavor is eggnog as it goes with the theme above)

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Preparation:
  • This recipe is ideal for when you are making Cake Pops and you have leftover melted coating already...

  • As opposed to dumping all that extra coating down the drain, now you can use it!

  • This recipe does not take but 5-10 minutes (including clean-up)
and uses just the amount of coating you have leftover from making cake pops!

  • Basically, the package of candy melts pictured above needs to be melted:

  • That is a 10 oz. package and should be placed in a microwaveable bowl on high for 30 seconds...

  • Now stir (using a teaspoon) and reheat again for 30 seconds on high...

  • Finally, (for a 3rd time), reheat yet again for another 30 seconds on high and stir!

  • I recommend gently stirring in at least 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (to thin it out)

  • Place 1 pretzel rod in each mold and carefully pour the coating into the mold, just filling it up...

  • Now place these in your freezer...you may now wash the bowl & spoon thoroughly.

  • If it has been approx. 5-6 minutes, you may remove these from your freezer...

  • Next, carefully remove these coated pretzels from the plastic mold by pushing from the coated side...

  • I recommend storing these in plastic wrap in your refrigerator.
